The University of Maine operates the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory as a
service to the veterinarians, livestock producers and pet owners of the state. The lab
performs a variety of diagnostic, microbiological tests and necropsy
services to help in the determination and control of the specific causes
of animal health related problems.
