FAQs
What type of player do I need to
view the gallery?
All videos are available in high-res
and low-res QuickTime formats.
To download
QuickTime player, click here.
How do I play a video?
In the video gallery browser, click
on a subject area to bring up a selection of related videos in the
window to the right. To play a video, click on the video's
thumbnail. The video will begin to play automatically in the
box at the top of the screen.
You can also search for videos
using the search tool. Type in your search criteria and a list of
related video thumbnails will appear in the window to the right.
Is there a way to view the
videos in high resolution?
Yes. Just click on the "high"
button to access the videos in high resolution.
What if I'm using a dial-up modem to access the Internet?
Will the gallery still work?
While the videos will load faster
if you have broadband access, the site employs low-resolution videos
to assist those with dial-up modem access. As with any dial-up
modem access, a longer loading time is expected.
Why won't the gallery work in IE for Mac?
Microsoft no longer updates IE for
Mac. If you use a Mac, we recommend using Safari or Firefox to view
the Featured Videos gallery.
Why am I getting a "This page uses
Javascript" error?
Javascript is required to access
the video gallery. Please enable Javascript in your Web
browser. If you do not have a Web browser with Javascript
capabilities, you can browse the video gallery in plain text format
by viewing the
text-only video gallery page.
