The most diverse college at UMaine

Liberal Arts and Sciences offers more than 40 majors from anthropology to women's studies, and various minors and concentrations, such as Native American and Franco-American studies. CLAS is the largest college at UMaine, with over 2,900 undergraduate and 300 graduate students.

School of Performing Arts

Stages dozens of first-rate music, theater and dance programs all year long. It is the premier school for the study and performance of music, theater and dance in northern New England.

Hot major: New Media

Creating digital art and music, Web sites, interactive environments, video and audio productions, animation and documentary productions, and multimedia presentations.
