campus, its dramatic roofline and unique shape define it, but it's
what unfolds inside that has put Alfond Arena on the national map.
Home to UMaine's two-time NCAA hockey champs and to other sports teams,
Alfond Area is in a class of its own. The addition of the
new Shawn Walsh Hockey Center has broadened its function and heightened
its appeal.
