Meeting with individual faculty members can provide an opportunity to learn more about a specific academic program at UMaine. We ask that prospective students visiting the campus contact the professor or instructor whom they hope to meet with directly. Contact information is available on the Academic Fact Sheets provided by the Office of Admissions and posted on the UMaine web page at http://factsheets.umaine.edu/. Meetings with faculty can vary in length and we suggest that you clarify with the faculty member the amount of time you have available to meet with him or her. These meetings should be scheduled around the standard campus tour times if you wish to participate in a campus tour. If you have made arrangements to meet with a faculty member, please inform the admissions office or the visitor center about your meeting at the time you make arrangements for an admission interview or a general campus tour.
