Programs - 4-H in Waldo County, Maine

4-H is the youth development education program of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.  Youth 5 to 18 participate in fun “learning by doing” activities and projects, traditionally.

Youth become involved in 4-H though:

  • organized community 4-H clubs
  • school enrichment programs
  • in and out of school programs
  • afterschool programs
  • 4-H learning center and camps
  • and many other activities

4-H also offers a variety of 4-H curricula for club schools and after school settings.  We also offer a variety of 4-H curricula for school and after-school settings.  Visit the www.4-hmall.org to view 4-H curriculum.

Our Waldo County newsletter, “4-H On the Move” provides the most current information on our programs and activities.

Our web calendar lets you know what is happening here and across the state.

The 4-H Leaders’ Association meeting is a great opportunity to network with other leaders, and to become involved in a deeper way with Waldo County 4-H!
