Following is some information that you may find useful as a Mitchell Center alumna. If you would like to make additional suggestions or comments please e-mail us at UMGMC@maine.edu.

Transcripts
Official University of Maine transcripts can be ordered by mailing or faxing a written request that includes the following:

  • Full name - as it appears on your record. Please include your maiden name, if married, or any other name used while enrolled at the University
  • Student I.D. number (Social Security Number)
  • Dates of attendance
  • Return address and daytime phone number - in the event we need to contact you
  • Your signature and the date

After signing and dating your request fax it to: 207/581-1314, or mail it to:

Gift Giving
The diverse mission of the Mitchell Center provides many unique opportunities which include endowments that provide long-term investment income or direct gifts that support the cost of a specific educational program. Programs and scholarships may be named to commemorate the donor or another who has been loved or admired.

Direct Gifts:
Giving a gift to the Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Environmental and Watershed Research is easy and can be done online or by mail:

  • Online through the University of Maine Foundation
    Use the University of Maine Foundation's secure online giving form. Ask that your gift be used in support of the Senator George J. Mitchell Center Fund.
  • Online through the University of Maine Annual Fund
    Use the University of Maine's secure online giving form. Check "Other" and use: Code - 1822 and Name - Senator George J. Mitchell Center.
  • By mail directly to the Mitchell Center
    Checks or money orders may be mailed directly to the Senator George J. Mitchell Center at 5710 Norman Smith Hall, University of Maine, Orono, ME 04469 and should be made out to the University of Maine.
