Andrew Fisk, Maine Department of Environmental Protection
Topic: Water Quality in Maine — Where are we heading?

Andrew Fisk is the Director of the Bureau of Land & Water Quality at the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. He has served in this position since 2003 after serving in two other positions in the State's Department of Marine Resources and Department of Conservation since moving to Maine in 1997. Dr. Fisk has academic degrees in biology, soil science, land use planning & policy and environmental science. His interdisciplinary doctorate from Rutger's University evaluated how administrative agencies obtain, manage, and use scientific information in the implementation of their statutory mandates.
