A visiting student from the UK, Sara was the first student to work with the Ethovision equipment which allows tracking of individual beetle movement within an experimental arena over a particular time interval. The camera is focused on the sand arena; the diagrams on the computer screen show where a particular individual beetle travelled during the course of the experiment.
