Research Collaborative on Violence Against
Women is an interdisciplinary group of University
of Maine faculty and women's advocates in
the community.
Women's Resource Center
Directed
by Sharon Barker, the Women's Resource Center provides
cultural and educational programs that further women's personal
and professional development. The WRC works to promote and maintain
a positive and supportive climate for all women- students, staff,
and faculty- at the University of Maine, and to be a liaison
with women and women's organizations in the community.

Reports directly to the President on issues of importance to the status of
