The 2007-2008 Maryann
Hartman Awards Ceremony
was held on Tuesday, November 6th, from 5:00 - 7:30 pm in the Buchanan
Alumni House. This was the 22nd year for the awards.
This year's
recipients were:
Alicia Anstead - for her nationally recognized career in journalism
Sally Jacobs - for her dedication to the preservation and enjoyment of Maine's great outdoors
Harriet H. Price - as an activist and writer promoting peace, social justice, and diversity
This year we honored another student with our Young Women's Social Justice Award. The recipient of this seventh year of awards was Hannah Hudson from Columbia Falls.
